I joined Willis in 1988 as a producer, and in 1994, joined my brother Bill Wooditch to help build The Wooditch Company. Today, I am an Executive Vice President and Principal at The Wooditch Company where I wear several hats – my main focus is new business growth for the agency and the development of intern producers through our proprietary Producer Program.
I am also responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with the company’s all important carrier and wholesaler partners. I build personal relationships with underwriters and senior management, relationships that are built on trust and confidence. Our carrier and wholesaler partners know they can always count on me in all facets of our business.
I believe strong relationships with our carriers are the key to implementing an effective renewal strategy, which in turn leads to the development of a cost-effective insurance program. Once we have won the business, together we create a Triangle of Accountability, where client, broker and carrier are accountable to each other to ensure the success of the program.
I graduated from the University of Richmond in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.
